Manage Billing Information for Invoicing

Use this page to learn how to set or update your billing information in Ververica Cloud. Depending on whether your paymend method is Ververica-managed or Amazon Marketplace, billing details and invoices are managed differently.

Ververica-Managed Billing

If you use Pay As You Go (PAYG) or Reserved Capacity (RC) workspaces, you must provide billing information to ensure your invoices are sent to the correct address and the correct tax rate is applied (if applicable). This billing information applies at the account level, covering all workspaces you own.

Add Billing Information for Invoicing

If you have not yet created any workspaces, or added your billing information for invoicing, you can add your billing information (address, tax ID etc) as follows:

  1. Click the Profile menu button and choose Payment.
  2. In the Billing Information section, click Add Default Billing Information.
  3. Enter your full name. Your email address will be visible, but not editable (it is taken from your initial sign-up details).
  4. Select your Country and from the drop-down menu. Some extra fields appear.
  5. If applicable, select your State/Province from the drop-down menu.
  6. Enter your City.
  7. Enter your Postcode. This must be in the correct format for your country.
  8. Enter your Address.
  9. Select your Tax Type from the drop-down menu. This is country-specific.
    • This is optional for some countries, and mandatory for others (e.g. Germany).
    • Your Tax ID must be in the correct format.
  10. Enter your Tax ID Number. This must be in the correct format for your Tax Type.
  11. Click Confirm.

Change Billing Information for Invoicing

Use this procedure to set the details that will appear on your invoice, and to include your tax ID.

To change your billing information for invoicing:

  1. Click the Profile menu button and choose Payment.
  2. In the Billing Information section, click Edit.
  3. Edit the Billing information details as appropriate and click Confirm.

Check Past Invoices

You can download and view past invoices.

To check your past monthly invoices:

  1. Click the Account button in the top right of the Dashboard and choose Payment.
  2. In the Invoices section of the Billing page, click Visit our billing portal.
  3. In the Invoice History section, select the invoice icon next to the date you want to review.
  4. On the invoice page, click Download invoice.
  5. Click your browser's Downloads button and view the invoice.

You can use the same method to download a receipt.

View Bill Summary Data

To check summary data for a billing period:

  1. Click the Account button in the top right of the Dashboard and choose Payment.

Summary data will be displayed. The table shows Pending and Creating items for the current billing period.

From this page, you can click View our billing portal to see your invoice history, and download past invoices.

View Usage

This gives an overview of resources used by workspaces that you own.

The Usage section is only available to an owner user. It is not visible to admin/editor or viewer.

To view your current usage:

  1. Display the Dashboard.
  2. Your current usage is displayed in the Usage section. See Dashboard - usage for details.

View Cost Estimates

The Cost Estimates section of the Dashboard gives you an overview of your account. It displays summary information relating to charges and billing, and allows you to make decisions on resourcing based on current estimates

The Cost Estimates section is only available to an owner user. It is not visible to an admin, editor, or viewer.

To view your cost estimates:

  1. Display the Dashboard.
  2. Your current usage is displayed in the Cost Estimates section. See Dashboard - cost estimates for details.

Amazon Marketplace Billing

If you have created a BYOC or RC workspace, your billing information and invoices are managed through AWS Marketplace.

  • Usage records are sent directly to AWS Marketplace for billing.
  • Invoices and payment history are accessed in your AWS Billing console.
  • Any changes to address, tax information, or credit card details must be handled in AWS.
