Ververica Unified Streaming Data Platform provides different ways to setup and run the platform based on your unique needs, preferences, infrastructure, and security requirements. These deployment options allow customers to select the configuration that best aligns with their operational goals, technical capabilities, and organizational policies.

Which Option is Right for You?

Ververica Unified Streaming Data Platform currently offers two deployment options:

• Ververica Cloud: Bring Your Own Cloud
• Ververica Platform: Self-Managed

Ververica Cloud: Bring Your Own Cloud

The platform runs on your cloud resources while still being managed by Ververica. This option allows flexibility and ownership while maintaining cloud economics, zero-trust security, or leveraging existing cloud spend. It is ideal for teams prioritizing full control over security and data retention policies to support a zero-trust security strategy. BYOC also benefits organizations that have invested in their own infrastructure, wish to leverage promotional pricing or spend commitments from their existing cloud providers, or want to avoid locking into a specific cloud vendor or region.

Ververica Platform: Self-Managed

You install and manage Ververica's platform on your own infrastructure, whether on-premise or in a private cloud. This gives you full control over the environment, security, and software lifecycle. It is a good choice for organizations handling highly sensitive data that cannot be exposed to external vendors or those with an established on-premise infrastructure who want to maintain full control and visibility over their streaming infrastructure.
