Authentication with SSO
Once SSO is set up and active, you can sign in with SSO and access resources according to your permissions.
The sign-in page asks only for your email address at first. Ververica Cloud detects your identity provider automatically, based on that address, and redirects you to sign in through it. If your email doesn't belong to an organization's domain, the standard password field appears instead.

For an organization member, entering their email opens their identity provider's own login screen.

After authenticating, you're redirected back to Ververica Cloud and land on your dashboard.

Organization members reach their organization's settings from the Admin menu.

- Password authentication isn't possible for users who are part of an organization in Ververica Cloud, except for the Organization Owner, who keeps password sign-in for the sole purpose of fixing SSO issues for their organization.
- Registering with a password isn't possible for users whose email address belongs to an existing organization's domain in Ververica Cloud.
If someone tries to register a new individual account using an email from your organization's domain, Ververica Cloud blocks that registration. They need to sign in through SSO instead.
As an organization owner, please contact support to transfer or delete your organization.
