Expiration Management (Start for Free)
When you create a new Ververica Cloud account, a free trial period starts automatically.
This free trial period is available only for the Ververica Cloud: Managed Service deployment option.
This topic gives an overview of how Ververica will manage the resources in your account upon the end of your credit or trial period.
If either of the following conditions is met, your free trial workspace will be suspended:

Your remaining credit reaches 0.

The free trial period ends.
During the suspension period:

You will not be able to access any workspace compute resources. However, your metadata and data will remain. This means that all Deployments and/or Session clusters will be stopped. You will not have access to your Start for Free workspace Console.

If you submit your payment and billing details within the suspension period, your workspace compute resources will be available again, you will regain workspace Console access, and you can then continue using your workspace Console with the metadata and data you created before the suspension period.
After the suspension period:
- If you did not submit your payment and billing details, all of your workspace content, metadata, data, and resources are deleted, including any leftover free credit.
