Supported Versions & Compatibility

This section contains information about Ververica Platform's two versions of using Flink, Spring and Stream, and lists supported releases, components, catalogs, connectors and more:

• Spring: This version is downloadable from the Ververica Customer Portal; it can be used independently or run with some other supporting platform besides Ververica Platform. This version is standalone and not as optimized for Ververica Platform usage as Stream, but support is available.
• Stream: This version is optimized for Ververica Platform usage, and it benefits from more patches and development than Spring as well as dedicated support.
