Manage account

The topics in this section handle some common account-based tasks, such as changing your password, and managing your account details.

Edit account name​

To edit your account name:

You can only change your first and last name.

  1. Log in to Ververica Cloud and display your Dashboard.

  2. Click the Account button in the top right of the browser window and choose Profile.

  3. Click Edit in the Profile section of the Account Settings page.

  4. Make your changes.

  5. Click Save.

Change password​

To change your Ververica Cloud login password:

  1. Log in to Ververica Cloud and display your Dashboard.

  2. Click the Account button in the top right of the browser window and choose Profile.

  3. Click Change in the Security section of the Account Settings page.

  4. Enter your old password (once) and your new password (twice) and click Confirm.

Change user interface theme​

To change the theme used to display the Ververica Cloud user interface:

  1. Log in to Ververica Cloud and display your Dashboard.

  2. Click the Account button in the top right of the browser window and choose Profile.

  3. Choose a theme from the drop-down menu in the Preferences section of the Account Settings page.

This specifies the default appearance for the entire Ververica Cloud application. The Console for individual workspaces can be displayed using a different theme using the Appearance button in the Console toolbar.

Reset password​

If you forget your password:

  1. Display the Ververica Cloud login page.

  2. Click the link to reset your password.

  3. On the resulting screen, enter your email address and click Send link.

  4. Follow the instructions in the email to reset your password.

Delete account​

  • You must delete all workspaces for which you are an Owner before you can delete your account. See Delete workspace.
  • Your billing details may be retained for up to 90 days until all invoices are settled.
  • You'll receive an exit email with a survey to share your experience.
  • An invoice will be issued at the end of the month in which deletion of account is requested.

To delete your user account:

  1. Log in to Ververica Cloud and display your Dashboard.
  2. Delete all workspaces that you own.
  3. Click the Account button in the top right of the browser window and choose Profile.
  4. Click Delete Account in the Delete Account section.
